The K Experience

Takaoka, 高岡, the land of mountains, rivers, rice fields, tasty water, fish, beatiful parks, great music, random festivals, and not forgetting, lovely Japanese ladies.

I have already written of the first part of my first impressions, based mainly on the Shinjuku orientation in Tokyo. This part is about arriving in the sticks of Takaoka, well, semi sticks anyway.

I've been racking my brains for hours just trying to find a suitable introduction for this entry, but to no avail. This is about the children of an orphanage, where I did voluntary work on the Oyibi road near Adenta in Ghana.

So you're the town planner and it's your job to name these two streets. So you sit there and think, "What am I gonna name these streets?" and you sit there for a bit longer, and you think., "I just can't think, I need to go out for a few drinks with the lads."
