The K Experience

Japan, 日本, The Land of the Rising Sun, the home of the ninja, the samurai, sushi, Mount Fuji, manga, anime, the original suicide bomber aka the kamakazi pilot (dont give all the credit to the Middle Easterns), and not to forget... the Tamagotchi.

I have already giving three journal entries about my escapades in Japan, which were on my favourite convenience store the Daily Yamazaki, the Takaoka Float festival, and Kyoto's Golden Temple, all of which were near the end of my time in Japan. Now I shall start from the beginning, the very beginning, actually from slightly before the beginning, BEFORE IT ALL BEGAN!!!!

The raw beauty of the Horfesh landscape. It was breathtaking, and a real privilage to have lived there, even for just two weeks. I wonder what has become of the people I once knew...

I'm gonna put myself out on a limb here and say that nearly every woman brought up in Africa (sub saharan at least) can do the above. But why have I not seen women in other countries doing this?

Please excuse the hairy leg in the picture, but it happens to be the only picture I took of the dead sea when I was there. I think I was quite self concious by the fact that people probably wouldn't want someone snapping away at their oh so untrimmed bods in water with salt concentration of up to 31%. Not that the salt concentration would have anything to do with it, just thought I would add that. Makes me sound clever.
