So it's the BBC Vs Fox, is that a fair comparison? Should it be the BBC vs CNN or ITV instead of the BBC? Doesn't really matter to be honest. The style of reporting between the US networks is not really that different in my opinion. What I've seen in the last year or so living in the US is not really impressive. I would never see Jeremy Paxman or Trevor McDonald carrying on like that...

I don't think so. I'm not sure where the Joseph Rowntree Foundation got their figures, but that seems ridiculous. Where are they expecting you live?

kenkayama05.jpg

It's 1820, and two residents of Fushiki town in Toyama prefecture, Japan are getting bored and restless. They want something to do, or more accurately, they want something to destroy.
(BFR= Bored Fushiki Resident)

BFR 1: "I've got it! Listen. Two carts, bunch of lanterns on each. We'll crash them into each other"
BFR 2: "Hmmm...em....what else you got?"
BFR 1: "Ok, ok...they'll weigh like, a ton each...a couple of tons."
BFR 2: "How the hell are we gonna move them, you would need, like, 50 people or something to push them."
BFR 1: "So? We'll get the whole town to do it. Ain't no one doing anything, it's 1820."
BFR 2: "So what it's 1820, people still work!"
BFR 1:
"Well then... we'll do it at night. Oh come on you know it will be fun, we'll give them like 50 feet run ups. We'll find a couple of idiots and stick them on the front. It'll be great, trust me."
BFR 2: "Hmmm, sticking people to the front. I think you're on to something there pall."

UK government official no 1: "So this Zimbabwe business, what on Earth shall we do about it old chap?"

UK government official no 2: "Well I was thinking about it, and ... well...we can ban them from playing cricket, what what."

UK government official no 1: "Good show, good show in deed, old chap. That'll soon sort out that Mugabe fellow. With that crippling sanction, he will soon see the error of his ways, and free and fair elections will come about in no time."

Julius & Friends - I Love You
Present - Web Videos
Monday, 23 June 2008
This happens to be one of my favorite Julius and Friends cartoons, and thought it would be nice to feature it here to celebrate The K Experience's 6 month mark. I know it's not that long, but hey if I celebrated after 1 month, then it only makes sense to mark the 6th.
