One of Ghana's beautiful beaches, Kokrobite Beach. One of the most popular spots in the country... Situated in the small fishing village of Kokrobite, the beach has become a very popular tourist spot for locals and foreigners alike. It is also one of the cleanest beaches around, as the locals go out every morning, and pick up all the litter that lies around. When I was taking these pictures, the place was packed with tourists playing around enjoying themselves. However, the locals were still there in their run down boats catching fish. It was interesting to see, how the same place was used for both work and play in totally different ways, at the same time. Of all the other beaches that Ghana has, this was the only one I went to. I'm not a beach person myself. I can't swim all that well, and even if I could, I'm not too fond of the water drying out my skin. Also I don't like how sand gets absolutely everywhere. However, I still loved it. Even though I was with a group of students, I managed to steal myself away to a quite spot by the bar to chill out and watch the world go by.
