White pride is all good. I have no issue with white pride. It's just like black pride, Asian Pride and all the other types of pride, but just with white people. However, writing baseless statements to discredit other people (Barack Obama in this case) does get my goat on occasion. And this just happens to be one of those occasions. It all started when I was looking for a picture of tribal African people...

Ok, so this isn't news. It's hardly even interesting, but the other day I got attacked by a squirrel. This squirrel. It tried to eat my foot. I was wearing slippers at the time, but that's not really an excuse to take a bite...

OK, so far all the UK USA comparisons have been in favour of the UK, which seems a little unfair. It's not my intention to do so, and I wil try and make the next UK vs USA entry in favour of the USA, but...

On Monday the USA celebrated the 22nd anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr Day, in honour of the late baptist minister and civil rights leader. Although he is known throughout the world for his stance against racial injustice in the 50's and 60's in America, very few are aware of his works apart from his most famous "I have a dream" speech of August 1963.

Today marks the one month anniversay of The K Experience. It was one month ago that I placed my first journal entry about my favourite conbini in Japan. Since then, The K Experience has evolved in terms of content and design, and as a birthday gift to the site, I shall be posting some of my favourite things, animated Jazz videos.

I have lived in the UK, Slough (if that counts) for about 24 years, so that's pretty much my home. I love the place. Despite it's extortionate prices, dirty streets, stuck up Londoners (not all of you), chavs (well, actually you gotta love the chavs) and general crapiness, home is home, and it will always be. However, I have decided to come to sunny California to further my studies, and I will be stuck here for the better part of 4 or 5 years. So far I've been here about 4 months. The transition has been smooth, but it hasn't gone without its difficulties. The main problem with my thinking and many others' is that, because we speak the same language (just about), we are the same. But this isn't the case, and in fact it is so important to remember that the USA and the UK are two totally different countries, with different cultures.
