UK government official no 1: "So this Zimbabwe business, what on Earth shall we do about it old chap?"
UK government official no 2: "Well I was thinking about it, and ... well...we can ban them from playing cricket, what what."
UK government official no 1: "Good show, good show in deed, old chap. That'll soon sort out that Mugabe fellow. With that crippling sanction, he will soon see the error of his ways, and free and fair elections will come about in no time."

News items currently on RSS feed to my site regarding Japan and my opinion:
- Asashoryu slams Chiyotaikai to stay perfect at spring sumo - Me: "Sports, ok."
- Diet rejects Tanami as BOJ chief, leaving central bank without boss - Me: "Business, important."
- Disney donates $1 mil to Chiba University - Me: "Charity, nice."
- Akita woman sentenced to life for murder of daughter, boy - Me: "wow, serious, definitely news."
- Kentucky Fried Chicken to raise prices in April - Me: ....????????
There are few things I hate more than misleading news. One of those is non-news. Why would ANYONE care that KFC in Japan were raising the prices of their chicken pieces by 20cents?...

The Africa Cup of Nations is a few days behind us now, and looking back, it was a great event, filled with joy and a few disappointments. I'm writing this just to add closure to the other entry I wrote, and was actually gonna call this entry something else...
